Christmas on the grid appears to be quite an occasion for creativity. Iason Hassanov is one of those mad builders who make whimsy come to life in Caledon. His latest creation, for the holiday season, is a creche in the Steampunk fashion, or what he calls SteamNativity.
Funny … reverent … awesome. A touch laggy, because the particle snow has been maxed out to the wazoo.

The notecard has a little story explaining this particular nativity scene:
“These wisemechs, the auto-magi finally found where the beacon met the earth and found a messenger from a new age had indeed come to earth! The auto magi gave him three gifts…Coal to nourish him…Oil to annoint him and make him free flowing…and cavorite to make him light and so that he might someday accend to the heavens. Walking slowly to the Mangler, a space under a grate …”
